We have many Ministries here at Mt. Zion that are designed to reach the Total Man.

Intercessory Prayer

 

Our work is to be in such close contact with God that we may have His mind about everything, but we shirk that responsibility by substituting doing for interceding. And yet intercession is the only thing that has no drawbacks, because it keeps our relationship completely open with God.

X, Y, Z. X~tra Years of Zeal
Senior Ministry

 

The X,Y,Z Ministry seeks to glorify God as we continue to reach the senior adults of Mt. Zion Church and those in the Missouri Boothill area, to enhance their lives, encourage them to grow in the Lord, and to challenge them to serve the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul and strength.

The mission of the Youth Ministry of Mt Zion Church is to establish a foundation for building Christian character, morals, values and behaviors in young people ages 12 to 18; by using creative and innovative methods to excite, inspire, capture and ignite young people for Jesus. Our goal is to enable young people to understand and recognize who Jesus is and what it is to live for Him only.

Voices of Zion

 

Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous;  it is fitting for the upright to praise Him. Praise the Lord with the harp; Make music to him on the ten string lyre. Sing to him a new song; Play skillfully, and shout for joy. For the word of the Lord is right and true; He is faithful in all he does. Psalms 33:1-4

It is our goal to aid in setting a spiritual pace and tone for the worship services.  We aim to get the congregation readied to receive the preached word.  The choir and musicians are charged to minister to the congregation at all services.
